Starting from today, Microsoft Malaysia will interrupt the access of Windows XP Professional which is pirated version by making the user facing blackout on the screen.

There are 8.6 million users of Win XP Pro in Malaysia and about three million are expected to suffer the “blackouts,” according to Microsoft Malaysia.

To continue working, the user would need to reset the machine’s desktop background. Everything will return to normal. But when 60 minutes are up, the black screen will reappear and the user must go through the whole process again.

For laptop users, this is not a problem for you, because almost 95% of laptops sold in Malaysia has an original windows in it unless you bought a really cheap one which has DOS installed.

For computers without internet, this is not a problem for you too, because you can’t even do windows update to download the WGA which will detect whether is your windows legal or not.

For computers with different windows, ignore this. 

For my friends, this is not a problem to you too, because I’m here to assist you. =)

Solution 1: Buy an original windows. ( duh )

Solution 2: Close your Windows Update, RIGHT NOW! 
How?: Hold Windows button + Pause&Break > Automatic Updates > Turn off Automatic Updates

Reminder: Remember do not install the updates if it’s downloaded.

If you already installed the WGA, which means your access to the windows already interrupted, then..
